Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Systems Engineer with a passion for authentication and directory services to join our Directory and Authentication Services team. This position is based on the ART Endpoint platform and involves working in an Agile environment with multiple teams to ensure the security and efficiency of authentication and authorization services, both on-premises and in the cloud (Entra ID), including multi-factor and step-up authentication.

Main Responsibilities:

• Set up a new Active Directory domain for destructive and rebuild testing.
• Update existing documentation and move it to a new platform.
• Test and validate different Active Directory disaster recovery scenarios.
• Analyze and optimize current daily operational processes to reduce recurring incidents.
• Update or rework existing operational dashboards.
• Implement automation to reduce the number of incidents and repetitive tasks.
• Assist with fine-tuning specific rules for a new monitoring system.
• Implement the projects, hand over to team members, and provide clear documentation of the delivered projects.

What we expect from you:

• Strong knowledge of authentication services, including Active Directory, Entra ID, and MFA.
• Eagerness to learn and absorb new information quickly, with a strong ability to dive deep into new material and build expertise.
• An Agile mindset, with experience in SAFe and a willingness to participate in various Agile ceremonies and daily operations meetings.
• Pragmatic, result-driven, and initiative-taking, with the ability to solve issues in a reasonable time.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
