Overview:
The Senior Specialist in Cybersecurity Governance is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining physical and information security governance in line with business, regulatory, and legal requirements. This role ensures the security of organizational assets through comprehensive governance strategies, operational excellence, and compliance management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Physical Security Governance:
2. Develop and implement physical security policies, standards, and procedures.
3. Ensure regulatory compliance during audits and act as the focal point for physical security investigations.

4. Information Security Governance:
5. Coordinate strategic security planning and align initiatives with business goals.
6. Foster partnerships with government bodies, vendors, and other entities for security compliance and innovation.

7. Awareness Campaigns:
8. Design and deliver security awareness programs tailored to internal staff and external stakeholders.

9. Asset Management and Data Classification:
10. Establish and refine asset identification and classification processes to ensure accurate recording and management.

11. Compliance and Monitoring:
12. Oversee compliance activities, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards.

13. Access Management:
14. Manage information access requests and implement role-based access processes.

15. Policy Adherence:
16. Ensure all tasks align with organizational policies and processes, maintaining high service standards.

17. Self-Development and Customer Service:
18. Stay updated on industry trends and ensure exceptional service in all interactions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, or equivalent.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years in banking or financial services, with knowledge of local regulatory requirements (e.g., SAMA standards).
• Expertise in cybersecurity, risk management, and physical security systems.
