Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Cybersecurity Project Manager with a strong focus on vulnerability management. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives aimed at identifying, mitigating, and addressing vulnerabilities across our systems, infrastructure, and applications. You will be responsible for driving projects that enhance our overall security posture, ensuring that risks are properly managed, vulnerabilities are remediated, and compliance standards are met.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage cybersecurity projects focused on identifying, assessing, and remediating vulnerabilities across the organization’s infrastructure, applications, and systems.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring the timely and successful completion of vulnerability management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security engineers, IT, development, and compliance teams, to implement vulnerability mitigation strategies.
  • Prioritize vulnerability remediation efforts based on risk assessments, business needs, and available resources.
  • Ensure that all vulnerabilities are tracked, reported, and remediated according to established timelines and standards.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of vulnerability management projects, providing updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Facilitate the continuous improvement of the vulnerability management lifecycle, including processes for scanning, assessing, and patching vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure that security vulnerabilities are addressed in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage risks and resolve issues that may impact project timelines, resources, or outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and leadership in vulnerability management best practices to internal teams.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in cybersecurity, with a specific focus on vulnerability management, risk assessments, and remediation.
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability management processes, including vulnerability scanning, patch management, and risk priority
