Role - Project Manager
Location - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Qualifications and Skills:
Reporting to Senior PM, this position exist to deliver project(s) on schedule and within budget, while satisfying agreed-upon customer requirements and specifications within the scope of the project. Responsible for the appropriateness, quality, and timeliness of all aspects of the project.
Line managers are fully and solely accountable to ensure compliance to all and regulatory frameworks, polices, instructions and processes defined in the BMS and its annexes across their area of responsibilities defined in the OBS.
Accountabilities:
• Accountable for employee discipline, time and attendance and resolving personal grievance/s in a timely manner
• Set performance objectives, provides necessary support, evaluates / appraises the team and provides regular feedback on performance leading to annual merit increase recommendations
• Provide top-down communication to employees and bottom-up feedback to the management.
• Comply with responsibilities defined in the BMS Annex B, section: ‘Responsibilities of Line Management’
• Resource in line with the agreed departmental budget
• Manage, guide and assist direct reports to perform their functional operations
• Promote a high-performance working environment in line with values
Planning and Strategy:
•Contribute to the development of overall IT Projects strategy
• Provide input for the development of the IT Projects budgets, plans, and systems that will achieve the business strategic objectives
• Develop policies and procedures that align with the function and business strategy and requirements
•Identify and allocate the resources necessary to support the department strategic plans and objectives
Project Management:
• Manage the production of project estimate and the project schedule
• Establish tracking measures and milestones, track ongoing project progress, and controlling the budget
• Assemble project teams, select and negotiate with subcontractors, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate project resources, and provide guidance and direction to project team members
•Proactively manage risks, issues, budgets, and scope throughout the project life-cycle. Prepare/present project plans/status reports to organizational leadership, project teams and client/customer groups
• Make a successful contribution to projects and services, applying standard processes
• Demonstrably adhere to the processes such that exist and assisting in achieving and maintaining industry level accreditation and maximizing customer satisfaction
• Complete development activities identified in approved development plan
Project Operations:
• Ensure that the technology solution addresses the customer's requirements identified during the project life-cycle, while being deliverable within the project's time and budget constraints
• Direct and motivate the project team, and establish an effective climate for achieving positive working relations with other stakeholders (e.g., customer, subcontractors, and management
• Acting as main point of contact with the customer and is responsible for communication outside the project. Understand customer goals and requirements and manages customer expectations and dependencies
• Understand both and the customer's business context and how the project impacts both. Maintain an awareness of changing business needs and external influences, and recognize their potential impact on project goals
• Achieve contractual commitments related to quality, cost, and schedule
• Facilitate the review of risks and develops appropriate risk mitigation plans
• Oversee and is responsible for facility and hardware contracts, the accuracy of customer invoices, subcontractor invoice verification, and account receivable collections.
OUTLINE QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & BUSINESS EXPERTISE:
• Minimum 3-4 Years’ experience in IT Project Management (managed budgets of 500,000+ SAR labour only value) preferably with 2 years in managerial role
• Fluent in English
• Diploma in IT is required, Bachelor degree in IT is preferred
• Relevant technical certificates
• Knowledge of IT Service Framework
