Our Client

A high growth tech and distribution have an exciting newly created opportunity for a Legal Counsel to join their growing team based in Dubai, UAE.

Your Responsibilities

• Review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including distribution, vendor, and service agreements in both the Arabic and English language.
• Manage provided resources to maintain the validity of trade/service licenses and commercial leases, ensuring timely renewals.
• Ensure compliance with relevant UAE and KSA regulations, resources are available in KSA to guide the UAE on latest legal and regulatory developments.
• Advise the government relations team when they liaise for regulatory authorities, managing inquiries, and ensuring all operations align with legal requirements.
• Draft and maintain legal documents, and maintain an existing electronic repository for easy access.
• Provide sound legal advice on daily business operations, minimizing legal risk and facilitating smooth execution of strategic initiatives.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law; Lawyer’s qualification not mandatory.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar in-house role or legal firm.
• Fluent English, with very strong drafting skills. Attention to detail is crucial. Arabic speaker is advantageous, but not essential. 
• Strong interpersonal, logical, and communication skills, capable of building relationships across all organizational levels.
