Cyber GRC Specialist - 5 years

Job Description

A leading financial services company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Cybersecurity Governance Specialist to develop, implement, and maintain a robust cybersecurity governance framework. This role will be crucial in aligning our security practices with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and business objectives

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations

• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation strategies

• Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery

• Design and deliver security awareness programs to educate employees on best practices

• Evaluate and manage third-party vendors to ensure they meet security requirements

• Conduct regular security audits and provide reports to senior management

• Collaborate with IT, legal, and other departments to integrate security across the organization

• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's degree preferred)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on governance, risk management, and compliance

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., SAMA, NCA, NIST CSF, ISO 27001) and relevant regulations

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are highly desirable

• Proficiency in security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  Proven leadership ability and experience in project management

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
