Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team in Dhahran, KSA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation processes within Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires a strong understanding of IaC, automation, and integration with various enterprise systems.

Required Experience:

• CI/CD Pipeline Expertise: Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines using relevant tools (e.g., Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). Demonstrated ability to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Extensive experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager for provisioning and managing GCP resources. Ability to create reusable modules and templates for consistent infrastructure deployments.
• GCP Services and Architecture: Solid understanding of core GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, VPC, etc.) and experience designing and implementing cloud architectures following best practices.
• Automation and Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go) for automating tasks, integrating systems, and developing self-service tools.
• Systems Integration: Demonstrated experience integrating cloud platforms with enterprise systems such as approval engines, change management systems, asset management systems, DNS, and security/compliance tools. Understanding of APIs and web services.
• Configuration Management: Experience with configuration management tools and processes. Familiarity with CMDB systems and the ability to automate updates based on cloud resource usage.
• Cloud Resource Discovery and Management: Experience designing and implementing solutions for discovering and managing cloud resources. Experience with monitoring and logging tools to track resource utilization and performance.
• Self-Service Portal Development: Experience in designing and implementing user-friendly self-service portals for requesting and provisioning cloud services.
• Cloud Security Best Practices: Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. Experience implementing security controls and ensuring compliance with security policies.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role, with a focus on GCP.

Qualifications:

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Developer Certification
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer Certification
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
