Job Title: Automation QA Engineer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated testing, a deep understanding of testing methodologies, and hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools and frameworks. This role primarily focuses on ensuring the quality of mobile applications while also covering web and API testing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Automated Testing:

   • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and Playwright API.
   • Conduct thorough API testing using tools such as Postman.
   • Implement mobile automation testing frameworks to ensure high-quality mobile app functionality.

2. Performance and Tracking:

   • Utilize performance testing tools to identify and address bottlenecks.
   • Monitor and report key testing metrics and progress to stakeholders effectively.

3. Scripting and Development:

   • Design and develop robust test scripts to validate functionality across different platforms.
   • Optimize and refactor scripts for maximum efficiency and reusability.

4. Azure DevOps:

   • Integrate and execute tests within Azure DevOps pipelines.
   • Collaborate with development teams to align testing strategies with DevOps practices.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

   • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
   • Participate in design and code reviews to identify testability aspects.

6. Tool Expertise:

   • Leverage expertise in QTP/UFT for legacy systems testing where applicable.
   • Contribute to the selection and implementation of new tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Must-Have Skills:

  • Proven experience with Selenium for automated testing.
  • Expertise in API testing with tools like Postman.
  • Proficiency in performance testing tools and tracking/reporting metrics.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for test integration.
  • Strong scripting abilities in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript).
  • Experience in developing and executing mobile automation tests.

• Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Playwright API.
  • Experience using QTP/UFT for automated testing.
  • Knowledge of advanced testing methodologies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in automation testing roles, with a focus on mobile and API testing.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate testing outcomes and strategies.
