Halian is looking for his client, one of the largest Captive Insurance companies in the world, an account manager based in Luxembourg

Within this area the account manager shall control and administer the total (re)insurance portfolio of the captives allocated to them and for this purpose shall:

-  Control and register all reinsurance agreements, both for incoming and outgoing business
- Accept or refuse policies according to the agreements, as well as register these policies in the computer system on a detailed level
- Control thta the correct premium is paid to the captive within the agreed time
- The daily bookkeeping, update and control of the bank account of the clients
- Control of cash flow and arrangement for necessary investments in accordance with the agreements with the clients
- Preparation of the tax and VAT returns necessary for the clients to comply with the local regulations.
- Preparations of reports and coordination of the reporting process to the Commissariat aux Assurances and any other reports required by the local authorities
- Monitor control exposures on a regular basis in accordance with the board approved risk appetite framework ans risk management policies

Profiles:
- with a good knowledge in accounting and an insight in numbers,
- fluent in German, French & English is essential,
- reliable and entrepreneurial,
- team-player who enjoys working in a multinational environment,
- good knowledge of MS office software.
