Halian is currently looking for an Applications Manager for one of our client in Luxembourg. 

• Program & Project Management: Manage the team projects pipeline ( E.g. Design and follow-up development plan; Provide hands-on support and guidance; Monitor autonomy progress; Supervise and provide functional direction to the team; Monitor regularly team performance; Coach and mentor staff under direct report, as well as colleagues amongst the organization ); Maintain, organise and control different steps of the project ( E.g. Respect budget; Resources allocation; Organise and overview steering committee and the organizational structure of the team; Evaluate upcoming risks; Send weekly/monthly mails to all users resuming the ongoing status of the project)
• Manage the priorities ( E.g. Weekly meeting with Wholesale & Logistics; Choose and negotiate with IT partners; Support the international markets; Create and implement IT policies and IT governance; Stay up to date with new solutions)
• Maintain and strengthen link in between the different Business areas and the Applications Team (E.g. Organize and drive User Application Councils; Cross-check with other parties initiatives alignment; Maintain and communicate the Team master plan)
• Ensure support and effective enhancements of implemented solutions ( E.g.  Maintain contact for the Helpdesk to detect enhancement points; Engage with the Business and challenge the current processes to identify improvement points; Manage the team to ensure the specific level of support for the different processes)
• Manage & develop the team  (E.g. Supervise and provide functional direction to the network and system administration team; Monitor regularly infrastructure team performance )
• Ensure the transformation of the IT Processes towards ITIL 4
• Manage & control team budget as defined by Landewyck Finance requirements
• Manage relationships with third parties such as Vendors and Auditors

• Ensure sufficient level of independence of the organization in regards to the third parties
• Ensure the team is appropriately organized and staffed 
• Ensure that resources are spent in an efficient way
• Ensure communication through the organisation
