Job Title: Specialist, Financial Communication

Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial and regulatory communications activities to ensure compliance with reporting obligations.
  • Draft materials for earnings announcements, regulatory filings, and corporate reports.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align draft materials and secure approvals.
  • Release approved materials to external stakeholders, including the media, and manage investor relations.
  • Identify reputation risks and opportunities, escalating as necessary, and support senior leaders in external engagements.
  • Supervise assigned staff, provide training, and contribute to budget planning and implementation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate communications, with 2-3 years in managerial roles.
  • Experience in the oil & gas industry and finance sector is essential.
  • Knowledge of the oil & gas value chain and experience in content creation and external promotion.
  • Strong collaboration skills, stakeholder management, and experience working with C-suite executives.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively across teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in financial communication tools and platforms.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.

Working Relationships:

  • Internal: SVP in GC&CSR, VP Financial Communications, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • External: Stakeholders in the Group, government entities, and industry counterparts.

Generic Accountabilities:

  • Supervision: Plan, coordinate, and train staff to meet objectives.
  • Budgets: Provide input for budget planning and assist in implementation.
  • Policies & Procedures: Implement approved policies and procedures.
  • Performance Management: Contribute to achieving performance objectives.
  • Innovation & Improvement: Design and implement process improvements.
  • HSE & Sustainability: Ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Reports: Provide inputs for management reports.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of financial communication and the oil & gas industry, capable of managing complex stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality communications materials in a timely manner.
