Our Client
Halian is currently looking on the behalf of an International Financial Institution for a Senior Platform Engineer with the following profile:

Qualifications
Required

• Extensive development hands-on experience with Hashicorp Terraform (authoring terraform code / modules)
• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a focus on AWS.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer certification.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps / Jenkins / GitLab CI. (development of pipelines)
• Extensive experience working with GIT
• Knowledge and experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar)

Nice to have:

• Experience with other Hashicorp Tooling such as Vault and Packer
• Experience with Azure cloud.
• Experience working in public institutions would be an advantage
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
• Experience with security scanning tools (static analysis, dynamic analysis, container scanning, etc.) and in addressing common security vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes as nice to have.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures using AWS services.
• Design and Development of Terraform Modules supporting AWS and Azure Clouds 
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to define infrastructure requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Architect, design, and implement CI/CD pipelines
• Implement best practices for cloud architecture, security, and compliance
• Governance and ownership on Terraform module registries
• Stay current with the latest AWS services and industry trends to continuously improve our cloud infrastructure.
