We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Windows Endpoint Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and securing Windows endpoints across the organization. You will ensure that devices are properly configured, secured, and maintained, contributing to a stable and efficient IT environment.Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows endpoint devices, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Utilize endpoint management tools (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Manager, SCCM) for efficient device management.
- Implement and manage endpoint security measures, including Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions and antivirus software.
- Configure and enforce Group Policy settings and Conditional Access Policies to ensure compliance and security for all Windows devices.
- Plan, test, and deploy software updates and patches to Windows endpoints to mitigate vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
- Manage and enforce disk encryption policies using solutions such as BitLocker to protect sensitive data on Windows devices.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with encryption policies.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Windows-related issues, assisting users with device configurations and technical problems.
- Analyze endpoint performance metrics to drive enhancements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Windows configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Develop training materials and conduct sessions to educate users on best practices for using Windows devices.
- Work closely with IT security, network, and application teams to ensure integrated endpoint management.
- 5+ years of experience in endpoint management with a focus on Windows environments.
- Proven track record in managing Windows endpoints in enterprise settings.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, security protocols, and endpoint management tools.
- Experience with EDR solutions and antivirus software, including configuration and management.
- Proficiency in Group Policy management and Conditional Access Policy implementation.
- Familiarity with patch management processes and tools.
- Extensive experience with disk encryption technologies (e.g., BitLocker).
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
