We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Networking Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design and development of innovative networking solutions for our client in Al Khobar Saudi Arabia for a minimum 12-month contract. You will leverage your deep technical knowledge and industry experience to deliver robust, scalable, and secure networks that support high-performance operations. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, with hands-on expertise in networking technologies, who can work with stakeholders to craft solutions that meet both current and future needs.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Develop high-level and detailed designs for new network infrastructure solutions, including LAN, WAN, data centers, cloud-based networking, and SDN (Software-Defined Networking).
• Lead end-to-end design and delivery of advanced networking solutions tailored to client requirements, including performance optimization, redundancy, and scalability.
• Conduct thorough assessments of existing network environments, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvements.
• Engage with clients to understand their business needs and translate those into technical requirements and feasible networking solutions.
• Ensure that all network designs adhere to security best practices and comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, GDPR).
• Collaborate with hardware and software vendors to evaluate, select, and implement the best networking technologies and services.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guidelines, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Lead projects related to network upgrades, migrations, and integrations, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.

Required Qualifications:
 

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture.
• Proven track record of designing and managing large-scale networking solutions, including multi-site and cloud-based environments.
• Deep expertise with network technologies such as routing, switching, firewall, VPN, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, QoS, and VoIP.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware and software from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and Fortinet.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures
• Strong knowledge of network security best practices, including experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
• Certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
