Job Title: Platform Specialist

We are seeking a Platform Specialist with extensive experience in complex virtual environments with high availability infrastructures in large data centers. 
 

Responsibilities:

• Support the architecting and designing of platform solutions (e.g., databases, middleware, virtualization, containers, etc.)
• Implement platform maintenance routines and schedules
• Implement and operate orchestration/automation tools to maintain and extend platform solutions
• Implement and operate platform management, reporting, and monitoring tools
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve platform issues
• Implement and operate platform-related software providing shared services (e.g., OpenShift, Splunk, Oracle Enterprise Manager, etc.)
• Implement platform backup, restore, performance tuning, and analysis
• Produce and maintain platform technical documentation and operational procedures

Technologies:

• Expertise with the RedHat OpenShift Container Platform
• Expertise with Kubernetes
• Expertise in RedHat Linux administration
• Expertise with Docker or similar container technologies
• Experience with PaaS/IaaS technologies
• Experience working with infrastructure as code technologies like Ansible
• Experience in infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and operations
• Experience with CEPH, vSAN, and traditional storage solutions
• Knowledge of ITIL processes
