Halian is looking for a Network Engineer with the following profile.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, install and configure network solutions (e.g. switches, firewalls, routers, load balancers, SDN solutions);
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and solve network issues;
• Implement network backup, restore, performance tuning and analysis;
• Produce and maintain network technical documentation and operational procedures within given time-window;
• Coordinate and collaborate with other IT Teams on common Projects. 
• Follow exact processes and requirements on ITSM Tool(s).

Knowledge and skills

• A network SME with extensive detailed design expertise;
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure hardware and software;
• Makes a significant contribution to the investigation, diagnosis and resolution of network problems;
• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including firewall, routers, switches;
• Good technical knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching and network engineering;
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting of Ethernet based telecommunication networks;
• Adequate experience with Scripting;
• Ensures that all requests for support are dealt with according to set standards and procedures.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the defined area of expertise (Network Engineering)
• Network and/or wireless Certification which could include:
  • CISCO certifications e.g. Network Administrator (CCNA); CISCO ACI knowledge is highly preferable
  • Forcepoint certifications
  • F5 certifications
  • Checkpoint certifications
• Bachelor degree in an IT related domain
