Our client is an International financial institution looking for a MongoDB Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintain procedures and documentation for databases.
• Identifying, evaluating and managing the adoption of appropriate database administration tools and processes, including automation
• Contributing to the setting of standards for definition, security and integrity of database objects and ensures conformance to these standards
• Managing database configuration including installing and upgrading software and maintaining relevant documentation.
• Monitoring database activity and resource usage.
• Optimizing database performance and plans for forecast resource needs

 

Qualifications

• Provide a day-to-day on-site support for the client's internal application teams
• Administering 300 Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c instances on Linux RedHat servers with VMWare virtualization, 97 MySQL 5.6 and 5.7 databases on 74 Linux RedHat servers with VMWare virtualization
• Supporting application releases, changes implementation, refreshes automation in Shell, troubleshooting, performance tuning
• Participating in on-call for Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL and Sybase technologies.
• Experience with Oracle Dataguard and ASM
