Job Title:Linux DevOps engineer

We are looking for a Linux DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize our infrastructure across datacenters in Gent, RTP (USA), and the AWS cloud. You will play a key role in implementing a "Datacenter as a Service" (DaaS) strategy, integrating on-premise and cloud hosting solutions to ensure high performance, availability, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain datacenters in Gent and RTP, including on-premise and AWS environments.
• Deploy and monitor infrastructure (VMs, EC2, Kubernetes) and troubleshoot issues.
• Use CI/CD tools (e.g., Atlassian stack) for rollouts and support DevOps adoption.
• Ensure platform stability, security, and performance.
• Document processes for teams and end-users.

Requirements:

• Advanced Linux expertise (RedHat/CentOS 8+), VMware, and bare-metal server management.
• Experience with RedHat Satellite, Puppet/Terraform/Ansible, and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Git) and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of network/file services and security (e.g., x509 certificates).
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
