Job Description:
The Level 1 IT Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users within the organization. They serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues and inquiries, troubleshooting and resolving problems in a timely and efficient manner. The Level 1 IT Support Engineer assists users with hardware and software issues, network connectivity problems, and basic IT troubleshooting tasks. They document support tickets, escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary, and ensure that all incidents are resolved according to service level agreements. Additionally, the Level 1 IT Support Engineer may assist with IT asset management, software installations, and user training.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing first-line technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues
- Troubleshooting and resolving IT-related problems in a timely manner
- Documenting support tickets and maintaining accurate records of incidents
- Escalating complex issues to higher-level support teams as needed
- Assisting with IT asset management, software installations, and user training
- Ensuring that all incidents are resolved within established service level agreements

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional etc.)
- Experience in providing technical support to end-users in a professional setting
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
