We are looking for a Junior Wintel Systems Engineer, who will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing the Windows-based infrastructure. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of IT services, while also providing technical expertise and support.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage Group Policy Objects (GPO) to enforce security policies and configurations.
• Administer Active Directory services, including user management, group policies, and domain trusts.
• Configure and maintain Windows clustering for high availability and failover protection.
• Support Citrix environments, including Citrix Netscaler ADC configuration and optimization.
• Perform application packaging using AppV to facilitate efficient software deployment.
• Manage Windows Server environments, ensuring stability, security, and performance.
• Conduct hardware investigations for Dell and HP servers, resolving issues and optimizing performance.
• Utilize Azure services for cloud-based solutions and integration.
• Assist with ESX and VMware management, including virtualization and resource allocation.
• Contribute to automation efforts using Ansible for configuration management and deployment.
• Utilize Ivanti Patching Management Tool for software patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Assist with Citrix deployment using the MCS tool for streamlined provisioning and management.
• Participate in vulnerability management processes to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Maintain basic knowledge of Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Communicate effectively in French and English, with proficiency in Spanish as an asset.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on Wintel systems engineering.
• Proficiency in GPO, Active Directory, Citrix, AppV packaging, Windows Server, and Azure.
• Experience with Dell and HP hardware investigation and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ESX, VMware, Ansible, Ivanti Patching Management Tool, and MCS Tool.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management processes and best practices.
• Basic understanding of Git for version control.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English.
