Our client is an international Bank and they are looking for a Junior Operations Officer.It's a unique opportunity to learn a mix of practical knowledge and technical skills in the European Headquarters of the world's largest bank and gain international experience in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
Your responsibilities:
1. Daily RMB clearing business operation post
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of clearing business handling according to relevant requirement of supervisor authorities and internal operation manual;
- Reply inquiry and payment SWIFT messages and reply new SWIFT Message out timely.
2. Daily business handling of Corporate loan
- Reconciliation with agent about payment, fee structure and prepayment notice; - Journal entries align with accounting principle;
- Reconciling, updating and maintaining the loans receivable and loans payable administration;
- Liaise with project manager to reconcile static data, loan and interest balances; - Liaise with internal and external parties to update and reconcile the Loan Administration;
- Check the output of the Loan Admin tool before sign off;
- Implementing new and/or improving existing operation procedures and internal system;
- Liaison with external auditors;
- Supervision and oversight of accounting, loan administration and other transaction undertaken;
- Ensure coordination with counter parties to monitor and control operations;
- Reconcile systems by checking the data flows and stocks with front desk.
3. Provide information of business details and support
- Provide business report to Head Office as well as external supervisor authority of Clearing Bank;
- Provide business statistics details to the Management, Department Head, and other departments such as Financial Institutions and Financial Markets departments;
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of Branches’ business information statistics and the requested information.
4. Customer relationship maintenance
- Cooperate with front desk for RMB clearing business marketing and provide timely assistance to
customer inquiry related to clearing business.
5. Parameter setting
- Provide support to Branches of the Bank; - Work on the maintenance, testing and implementation of new and existing system.
Your profile:
Bachelor degree majored in accounting, finance or economics preferred;
Fluent in English both spoken and written;
1 or 2-years experience in financial industry;
Team player and positive personality;
Collaborative personality, well organized and ability to complete tasks independently;
Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel ,Powerpoint), better to be familiar with automate VBA skill
