Job Role:
As the Head of Project Delivery, you will provide strategic direction and leadership for the delivery of all projects, ensuring high-quality work within contract timescales and allocated budgets. Projects include buildings, utilities, roads, and public realm. You will also ensure that the city's infrastructure proposals align with its vision and business plan, comply with sustainability standards, and meet statutory requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

• Contribute to the organisation strategy in line with its vision, mission, and overall strategy.
• Translate the strategy into annual operational business plans and KPIs for Project Delivery, monitor performance, and take necessary actions.
• Manage staff and teams by setting objectives, overseeing performance management, recruitment, training, and development.
• Contribute to change management initiatives, programs, and projects.
• Provide effective leadership and project management for a portfolio of projects, ensuring financial and quality control.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery from contract negotiations to handover.
• Maintain a long-term infrastructure management strategy considering sustainability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all design/construction propositions align with commercial viability, timelines, and quality.
• Oversee infrastructure delivery and coordination with energy management and sustainability teams.
• Support 3rd party developers to achieve development milestones and schedule targets.
• Ensure strict monitoring of the organisation sustainability metrics and facilitate continual improvement efforts.
• Act as a single point of contact between the company and internal & external delivery team members.
• Develop and maintain a network of stakeholders and explore collaborations.
• Manage key relationships/negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish effective project governance processes and systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Promote awareness of health, safety, and well-being best practices and culture.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in infrastructure design or related discipline.
• Master’s degree or Project Management certification (PE or PMP).
• 10-12 years of experience in project management, project delivery, and construction management of real estate projects, preferably in infrastructure.
• Abu Dhabi experience would be beneficial.
• Strong communication, leadership, prioritization, persuasion, and attention to detail skills.
• Knowledge of renewable energy industry technical matters, procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
