A leading provider of premium sanitary, tiles, kitchen, wardrobe, and furniture solutions, is seeking an experienced Finance Professional  to join our team as Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with strong analytical, technical, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Financial Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement robust financial strategies that align with the company’s long-term objectives.
  • Lead the budgeting process, ensuring that all departments have accurate and achievable financial plans.
  • Forecast financial performance, adjusting strategies to accommodate changing market conditions and business needs.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, including trend analysis, variance analysis, and scenario planning, to support strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and executive summaries.
  • Present financial results to senior management, highlighting key insights, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Accounting and Compliance:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Ensure all tax filings are accurate and submitted on time, maintaining compliance with relevant tax laws.

Financial Control:
  • Implement and enforce stringent internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
  • Conduct regular audits and financial reviews to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Develop and update financial policies and procedures to reflect best practices and regulatory changes.

Budgeting and Monitoring:
  • Oversee the preparation of annual budgets, collaborating with department heads to ensure realistic targets.
  • Continuously monitor budget adherence, identifying and addressing variances in a timely manner.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly budget reviews, offering insights and recommendations to senior management to optimize resource allocation.

Commercial Agreements:
  • Review and validate all commercial agreements, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier invoices, ensuring they meet financial and legal standards.
  • Provide financial advice during contract negotiations, securing favorable terms and minimizing financial risk.
  • Monitor compliance with all contractual obligations, ensuring timely payments and receipts.

Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure the company adheres to all financial regulations, including statutory reporting, tax compliance, and corporate governance standards.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to address any issues, ensuring full compliance with all requirements.

Management Information Systems (MIS):
  • Implement and maintain advanced MIS to provide real-time financial data and analytics to decision-makers.
  • Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and security of financial data across all systems, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
  • Customize reports to meet the specific needs of various stakeholders, providing clarity on financial performance and operational efficiency.

KPI Tracking and Sales Team Performance Monitoring:
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the finance department and the broader organization.
  • Implement KPI tracking systems specifically for the sales team, analyzing performance data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to align financial goals with sales targets, providing financial insights that drive sales strategies and incentive programs

Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and development plans to ensure the team achieves its full potential.
  • Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across the finance team and other departments, driving overall business success.


Qualifications
  • Chartered Accountant , ACCA or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong background in budgeting, financial analysis, and compliance.
  • Strong proficiency in financial accounting software and ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external Key customers
  • Experience in the construction or retail industry is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Knowledge of UAE Tax regulations and compliance requirements
