Job purpose:


Roles and Responsibilities:


We are seeking an IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE Data Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in data engineering, a proven track record of leading data projects, and the ability to design and implement scalable data pipelines for AI model development. This role requires a strategic thinker who can align data engineering practices with business objectives.



Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable data pipelines to support AI model development.
• Architect and implement data solutions that handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data, including videos, audio, images, and text.
• Collaborate with AI researchers, machine learning engineers, and software engineers to ensure data readiness for model training and deployment.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data sources and pipelines.
• Optimize data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Mentor and guide junior data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in data engineering and AI model development.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on building and optimizing data pipelines
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Scala
• ETL
• AI / LLM / NLP
• knowledgeable in data processing technologies such as Apache Spark
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Proven track record of handling large-scale data projects and delivering results.

Education/Certification and Continued Education

• B.S. or master's in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
