We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Program Manager to lead and drive multiple large-scale cybersecurity transformation initiatives across a variety of domains, including Data Security, Security Operations Center (SOC), Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and more. This senior-level role requires a professional who can manage multiple cybersecurity programs simultaneously, with a strong focus on strategic execution and seamless delivery.
As a key member of the cybersecurity leadership team, you will work closely with executives to shape and drive the program vision, ensuring alignment with business objectives and providing expert guidance on cybersecurity best practices. You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the execution of security transformation projects, leveraging your deep expertise in security and IT to navigate complex technical landscapes and deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Leadership: Drive the overall strategy and execution of multiple large cybersecurity programs, spanning various areas such as Data Security, SOC, Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, and IAM.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior leadership and executives, providing regular program updates, identifying potential risks, and ensuring alignment with business goals. Effectively communicate program vision, challenges, and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Program Delivery: Oversee the execution and delivery of cybersecurity initiatives from inception to completion. Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring milestones are met and risks are mitigated.
- Cybersecurity Expertise: Provide thought leadership in areas including SOC, Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, Identity Management, and other cybersecurity domains. Offer guidance on industry best practices, standards, and emerging threats.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work with internal teams, third-party vendors, and external partners to ensure seamless integration of security solutions across the organization.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage program budgets and resources effectively, ensuring that cybersecurity programs are delivered on time and within budget.
- Risk Management: Identify potential cybersecurity risks and work proactively to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with internal and external security requirements.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed program documentation, status reports, and risk assessments to ensure transparency and facilitate decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience (10+ years) in managing large-scale cybersecurity transformation programs, with a focus on Data Security, SOC, Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, and IAM.
- Cybersecurity Expertise: Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and practices. Previous hands-on experience with security technologies is highly preferred.
- Program Management: Strong program management skills with a track record of successfully leading multi-project initiatives. Experience managing complex, cross-functional teams and delivering programs on time and within budget.
- Executive Communication: Experience engaging with senior executives, presenting program updates, and driving conversations around cybersecurity strategy and program execution.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate teams, drive consensus, and navigate complex organizational dynamics to achieve program objectives.
- IT Skills: Strong IT background with an understanding of the technical aspects of security across various domains.
- Certification: Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cybersecurity transformation programs in non-airline industries (experience in PSS or airline-related programs is not required).
- PMP & Security Certs such as CISSP or CISM
- Familiarity with cloud security frameworks (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure security protocols, and modern SOC operations.
