Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Lawyer with a strong background in corporate law and intellectual property to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience as a corporate lawyer, particularly within the manufacturing and technology sectors. Proficiency in contractual law and a foundational understanding of intellectual property are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support on corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, including supplier agreements, licensing agreements, and joint venture contracts.
  • Advise on intellectual property issues, including patent, trademark, and copyright matters, ensuring compliance with UAE laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the manufacturing and technology sectors.
  • Assist in the resolution of disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation as necessary.
  • Support the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures related to corporate governance and compliance.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior legal staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law; LLM or additional legal qualifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a corporate lawyer, preferably in the manufacturing or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of contractual law and intellectual property law.
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to legal risk management.
  • Familiarity with local laws and regulations in the UAE, particularly in relation to corporate governance and intellectual property.
  • Arabic language skills are highly desirable, as some agreements may be in Arabic.
