A leading organization specializing in innovative solutions across various industries, currently seeking a Compliance Manager to establish and maintain the company's compliance and governance functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Governance Framework: Establish and maintain a clear governance framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company understands and complies with rules and regulations issued by relevant authorities.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Manage communications related to governance documents and maintain relationships with regulators.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and update of governance frameworks and policies.
  • Risk Management: Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or address violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies, and manage the development of annual board reports and press releases.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Proven experience in compliance and governance roles, preferably within publicly listed companies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and governance frameworks.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to evaluate the efficiency of controls and identify compliance risks.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and regulators.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen focus on accuracy and thoroughness in compliance and governance management.
