Business Development Manager (m/f/d)

Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with governmental entities and other stakeholders to identify and secure commercial opportunities. The role focuses on expanding the organization's portfolio of residential and mixed-use projects by fostering partnerships, facilitating collaborations, and driving new business initiatives aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Establishing Government Relations
* Build and nurture strategic relationships with governmental entities, regulatory bodies, and municipalities.
* Act as the primary point of contact between the company and government agencies for project approvals, permits, and compliance.
* Monitor government policies, regulations, and initiatives that impact the real estate sector and align company strategies accordingly.
Identifying Commercial Opportunities
* Identify and assess potential business opportunities in residential and mixed-use projects in Kuwait.
* Conduct market research and feasibility studies to evaluate project viability and profitability.
* Develop and present business cases, including financial analysis, to support investment decisions.
Stakeholder Collaboration
* Collaborate with internal teams, including Development, Design, and Project Management, to align project proposals with company goals.
* Negotiate partnerships, joint ventures, and agreements with private and public stakeholders.
* Represent the company in meetings, events, and conferences to promote its vision and establish a strong market presence.
Strategic Planning and Reporting
* Contribute to the development and execution of the company's business development strategy.
* Prepare and present reports on business development activities, achievements, and opportunities to senior management.
* Maintain a pipeline of potential projects and regularly update management on progress.
Key Performance Indicators (KPls):
* Number and value of residential and mixed-use projects secured.
* Strength and breadth of relationships established with governmental entities and stakeholders.
* Timeliness and success rate of project approvals and permits.
* Revenue and profitability generated from new business initiatives.
* Contribution to the company's market presence and reputation.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
* Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in business development within the real estate or related industries, with a proven track record of securing partnerships and projects.
* Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the real estate development market in Kuwait and the GCC region.
