As a Business Analyst focused on AI product development, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical execution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, Data Science, Engineering, and Client Services—to translate complex business needs into clear product requirements. This role requires a strategic thinker with a solid understanding of AI technologies, financial services, and a passion for developing customer-centric solutions.Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into detailed product requirements and specifications for AI-driven solutions.
- Product Roadmap Development: Work with Product and Engineering teams to define and prioritize features, aligning them with business goals and market trends in financial services.
- Data and Process Mapping: Develop detailed data flow and process maps, identifying areas for AI integration to improve efficiency and effectiveness across key workflows.
- Business Case Development: Support the creation of business cases for new AI product initiatives, including defining ROI, project scope, and potential impact.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between business units and technical teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication on project timelines, deliverables, and requirements.
- Market Analysis and Research: Conduct market research to understand competitive landscapes, emerging AI technologies, and customer needs in financial services to inform product strategy.
- Testing and Validation: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure requirements are met in product design and conduct UAT testing, gathering feedback to refine product functionality.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Analyze product performance and user feedback to provide actionable insights for continuous improvement and optimization.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree or certifications in Business Analysis, AI, or Product Management is a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably within financial services or a technology environment focused on AI product development.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and data science methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Experience in financial services, particularly in areas such as risk management, compliance, customer analytics, or operations.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements impacting AI in finance.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and AI/ML tools (e.g., AWS, Azure, TensorFlow).
