We're seeking an Application Support Engineer with expertise in Java and a desire to contribute to critical operations for our client at Strasbourg.
As an Onsite Application Support Engineer, you will take full ownership of application support at our client's premises.
This is a role that requires flexibility, dedication for finding solutions to incidents in 24/7 service environment.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar context is required.
 
Key responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive end-to-end support for customer applications
  • Analyse and resolve incidents, providing permanent solutions or workarounds to restore service operations
  • Create problem reports and change requests linked to incidents for restoring or improved system functionality
  • Collaborate with the customer on incident reviews
  • Be ready to participate in on-call/standby duties when required
  • Be ready to participate in out of business hours duties when required
 
Technical Skills required
  • Java expertise for development and application support
  • Basic skills of ANSIBLE
  • Basic knowledge of Linux RHEL & System/infrastructure
  • Oracle skills are a +
 
Non-technical skills
  • Good understanding of the ITIL framework
  • Very good level in English (spoken and written)
  • French is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills to coordinate tasks and manage workloads efficiently.
  • Ability to remain calm and perform effectively under pressure, focusing on customer satisfaction and SLA commitments.
  • Collaborative team player

Requirements
  • EU citizenship
  • Availability for EU Security Clearance
  • This role is fully onsite in Strasbourg—remote work is not an option.
