Our client:

Our client, a leading retail brand in KSA are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive brand growth and awareness.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, creative, and passionate about developing innovative marketing strategies that resonate with our target audience and elevate our brand presence in the market.


Your Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Planning & Brand Management:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our client's business objectives, focusing on brand growth, customer acquisition, and loyalty/retention.
    • Manage and enhance our client's brand identity, vision, and positioning through creative campaigns and initiatives that reflect the brand's values and appeal to target segments.
    • Take ownership of the brand, translating strategies into actionable brand plans and go-to-market strategies.
    • Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring all marketing, sales, and promotional activities are aligned with brand identity.
    • Develop and promote CSR initiatives that align with the brand’s values and resonate with customers, enhancing the brand's reputation and social impact.
  2. Marketing Planning & Campaign Management:
    • Develop and update the marketing and product calendar, planning marketing activities for both Below the Line (BTL) and Above the Line (ATL).
    • Lead the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all platforms.
    • Monitor implementation and measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies and plans, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
    • Set up and oversee the marketing and animation calendar for the brand, ensuring all promotions are properly planned and rolled out across channels and regions.
  3. Customer Segmentation & Category Management:
    • Identify customer profiles, analyze shopping behavior, and develop targeted plans to gain and retain customers.
    • Integrate defined customer segments into product marketing strategies, collaborating with Product Development (PD) and Sales teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities.
    • Develop and execute launching plans for new products, and establish exit strategies for underperforming products.
  4. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) & Customer Experience (CX):
    • Establish and maintain the CRM system, ensuring it is fit for purpose and that customer information is accurately maintained.
    • Analyze CRM data to generate insights that inform corporate brand, sales, and product strategies.
    • Organize initiatives to build effective customer relations, administer customer surveys, and analyze feedback to identify growth opportunities.
  5. Loyalty Program Management:
    • Develop and maintain our client's loyalty program for both retail and wholesale, exploring partnership opportunities to grow the network.
    • Implement programs to reward loyalty program members and enhance customer retention.
  6. Creative Direction:
    • Work with the marketing team and creative agencies on campaigns that support the marketing calendar.
    • Ensure that campaign concepts are adapted across different marketing functions and collaterals, managing suppliers to produce aligned content.
  7. Market Research:
    • Manage all marketing research activities, coordinating with external consultants when necessary.
    • Perform in-depth market analysis to identify demand, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
    • Analyze collected statistics and develop recommendations to maintain our client's competitive advantage.
  8. Leadership & Team Development:
    • Implement strategies for talent development, including training and mentoring programs, to build a high-performing marketing team.
    • Establish clear goals and performance metrics for the marketing team, conducting regular reviews and providing feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within the retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of brand development, digital marketing, and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and software.
  • Strong retail and product expertise

  • Creative marketing mindset
  • Hands on, proactive with great sense of ownership
  • good managerial style to grow and lead a team
  • Arabic speaker is a must
  • Familiar with regional norms and cultural aspects
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
