About the Role:

As a Junior Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting by managing various accounting and controlling functions. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate monthly and quarterly closings, including controlling, analysis, and reporting on costs and income.
• Conduct in-depth driver-based cost analysis and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with financial regulatory requirements.
• Act as the Single Point of Contact for external auditors, managing follow-ups and resolving open issues.
• Respond to ad hoc inquiries from various business lines, providing timely and accurate financial data.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Support, Settlement, Risk) and oversee outsourced processes to ensure efficiency and adherence to guidelines.

About the Team:

The team manages accounting, treasury, payments, invoicing, and fee setups while maintaining strong alignment with external and internal stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education and Experience: Up to 2 years of experience in accounting, cost controlling, or financial reporting, with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong analytical thinking with a critical mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work autonomously.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Flexible, proactive, and eager to learn, with a positive and team-oriented attitude.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with financial systems and tools; knowledge of regulatory reporting is a plus.
