Our client is looking for Platform Specialist with experience in complex Virtual Environments with high availability infrastructures in big Datacentres. The candidate should be a professional to work for a European Public Agency, working in a dynamic environment that promotes technical diversity, knowledge, and professional growth. Fluent English is a necessary.

Nature of tasks
Support the architecting and designing of platform solutions (e.g. DB, middleware, virtualization, container, etc.);
Implement platform maintenance routines and schedules;
Implement and operate orchestration/automation tooling to maintain and extend platform solutions;
Implement and operate platform management, reporting and monitoring tooling;
Troubleshoot, diagnose and solve platform issues;
Implement and operate platform-related software providing shared services (e.g. Openshift, Splunk, Oracle Enterprise Manager, etc.);
Implement platform backup, restore, performance tuning and analysis;
Produce and maintain platform technical documentation and operational procedures;

Knowledge and skills
- Expertise with the RedHat OpenShift Container Platform
- Expertise with Kubernetes.
- Expertise in RedHat Linux administration.
- Expertise working with Docker or similar container technologies.
- Experience with on PAAS/IAAS technologies.
- Experience working with infrastructure as code technologies on Ansible
- Experience in Infrastructure provisioning, monitoring and Ops
- Experience with CEPH, vSAN and traditional storage.
- ITIL knowledge;

Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in the field.
