Job description

 

To strengthen our team of database engineers, we are seeking a professional experienced in managing Oracle databases on Unix, with a preference for experience on AIX/Solaris.

 

 

Responsibilities

• Ensure the management and administration of Oracle databases on Unix.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure availability, performance, and security of the databases.
• Participate in incident resolution and implementation of patches.
• Contribute to performance optimization and capacity management of the databases.
• Ensure on-site presence during the integration period, then work autonomously based on management's discretion.
• Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure compliance with data security and governance standards.
• Opportunity for remote work in accordance with our policy after the integration period.

 

Required skills

• Proven experience in managing Oracle databases on Unix, with a preference for experience on AIX/Solaris.
• Proficiency in database administration and configuration of Oracle databases.
• Intermediate level as a DBA (Mid-level).
• Proficiency in English and French, knowledge of Spanish would be a plus.
• Knowledge of Ansible would be a plus.
• At least one of the following skills is mandatory in addition to Oracle:
  • Knowledge of MSSQL.
  • Knowledge of DB2 Open.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of Sybase.
  • Knowledge of MongoDB.
