We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team on a 6-MONTH CONTRACT. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Active Directory, Azure Cloud, and Intune, along with strong skills in application packaging and image building. This role involves planning and executing server migrations from Windows Server 2012 to 2019, managing stakeholder communication, and ensuring a seamless transition.

The successful candidate will demonstrate common sense, be a self-starter, and possess the confidence to challenge and collaborate with colleagues. Experience within markets such as Europe, America or Australia is a huge bonus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Active Directory environments, including user accounts, group policies, and security settings at a high level
  • Manage and optimize Azure resources, leveraging Azure Active Directory and Intune for device management and security.
  • Develop and deploy application packages and build images for various operating systems, ensuring automation and efficiency in deployment processes.
  • Plan, test, and execute migrations from Windows Server 2012 to 2019, including stakeholder management and documentation of migration processes.
  • Implement automation tools and scripts to streamline system administration tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing support and guidance while also challenging existing processes and offering innovative solutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and workflows to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role, with a focus on Active Directory, Azure Cloud, and Intune.
  • Strong knowledge of application packaging and image building, with experience in server migration projects (Windows Server 2012-2019).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) and automation frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to approach challenges with common sense and practicality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
