OBJECTIVE & OUTLINE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The Senior Quality Supplier Specialist shall report to the Head of Supplier Approval on all Suppliers quality of delivery performance activities in KSA & UK, based on analysis conducted on information submitted by Projects (e.g. results of surveillance).

The job holder will ensure that all assurance activities are aligned with the business and customer’s quality requirements and other regulatory requirements. To manage, within defined quality process, the evaluation, approval and through-life management, through surveillance plans, of vendors of customer deliverable equipment, ensuring the satisfaction of customer and regulatory requirements for quality, and ensuring elimination of quality risk through these approaches.

The Core Quality elements will include aspects of the maintenance and implementation of the Suppliers quality data, approvals, evaluations, review and related documentation. The tasks will also involve Technology Transfer and Industrialisation activities across platforms, and to act as focal point for Quality matters in respect of the Supplier Management activities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Maintenance of Supplier Management System internal documentation;
? Maintenance of the Approved Supplier Database;
? Scheduling of supplier approval activities;
? Liaison with suppliers to determine approval process to be followed;
? Performance of external supplier approval audits;
? Identification of quality risks, and risk reduction strategies;
? Provision of Quality System advice and support to external companies;
? Recommendation of award of Approved Supplier status;
? Implementation of risk mitigation tasks;
? Renewal of supplier approvals as required;
? Maintain and address where appropriate non-conformities and 
customer complaints relating to the quality performance of the 
Supplier;
? Making decisions on suitability of supplier quality arrangements 
following external assessment;
? Agreement of Quality conditions with a supplier for ongoing project 
activity;
? Ensure availability and validity of ongoing surveillance plans following 
supplier assessment;
? Negotiation and agreement of Supplier preventative and corrective 
actions to address identified Quality Assurance issues;
? produce reports covering visits and the results from audits, 
assessments and testing which has been witnessed;
