We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a Data team in Luxembourg. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems to support strategic decision-making. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements and develop scalable, reliable, and business-fit data solutions.

 Key Responsibilities: 
- Design, develop, and manage scalable data pipelines and DataMarts  
- Gather and translate business requirements into engineering solutions  
- Perform data modeling and database management  
- Build robust data warehouse solutions, including SCD, ODS, SDS concepts  
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows and transformation processes  
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems  
- Create reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau or SSRS  
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data flows  

Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering in the banking or financial sector
- Strong proficiency in data modeling and database management 
- Expertise in data warehousing and data mart development  
- Hands-on experience with tools such as SQL, Python, Spark, dbt  
- Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts: SCD, ODS, SDS  
- Proficient with visualization tools: Tableau, SSRS 
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills  
- Excellent command of English (C1/C2 level)  
- Preferred Qualifications:  
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines  
- Experience with banking application data models such as Temenos T24 or Triple A
