A leading organization in the technology sector, known for its commitment to innovation and excellence in data and platform engineering. The organization is currently seeking a Manager Data and Platform Engineering to join their team and lead their technical initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Execute strategy, follow principles, and design frameworks for delivery.
• Lead large-scale complex application development, enhancements, and maintenance projects/programs.
• Provide expert-level SME data and platform engineering skills.
• Interact with architects and technical leadership over the roadmap for the evaluation and adoption of technical tools/technologies.
• Provide guidance and feedback to team members in technical design and understanding system functionality.
• Carry complete ownership of the technical aspect of the system, including quality and timeliness of development/testing/support.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong expertise in platform engineering, including infrastructure, platform and services design, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience with cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in modern development methodologies, tools, and practices (e.g., DevOps, GitOps, Docker, Kubernetes services).
• Experience in building and maintaining highly available, secure, resilient, and complex platforms.
• Development experience and ability to provide technical inputs to low-level design.
• Excellent communication skills.
