As an IT Operations Specialist, you will ensure the smooth functioning of business and technical services by focusing on monitoring, application management, and supporting service desk tasks during after-hours shifts. The role involves working in three rotating shifts: morning, evening, and night, and requires adherence to ITIL best practices and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor infrastructure and applications using tools such as Splunk, SCOM, and Autosys.
  • Execute service requests using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and vRealize.
  • Handle IT incidents, escalate issues as necessary, and support end-of-month/yearly operations.
  • Provide first-level Service Desk services outside of regular hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Maintain documentation and follow ITIL processes like change and incident management.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Splunk is an advantage).
  • Understanding of ITIL best practices.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage a large workload.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
