A multinational media company have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join their growing team based in Dubai, UAE.

Your Responsibilities

• Review month-end closing (accounts, schedules, reconciliations, commentaries) for Middle East entities.
• Ensure timely billing, collection and review existing AR processes for continued efficiency gains and process improvement.
• Ensure payments are properly matched with supporting documents, review existing AP processes for continued efficiency gains and process improvement.
• Prepare cashflow forecasts, working closely with Commercial Finance team.
• Work closely with auditors and tax agents to manage statutory audit and tax reporting / filings
• Take on ad-hoc projects from time to time, such as M&A post-acquisition integration, new ERP implementation etc.

Your Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
• At least 8-10 years experience in audit and accounting.
• Prior external audit experience is essential (Big 4 audit firms preferred)
• Familiarity with IFRS, US GAAP knowledge preferable.
• Proficiency in financial accounting software such as Oracle NetSuite, 11i / Cloud, SAP etc. is essential.
• Demonstrable track record in process and system improvement.
• Strong communicator with confidence in interacting with senior stakeholders.
