Job Overview: The Factory Fit-Out Project Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the fit-out and engineering works necessary to complete the facility. This includes ensuring compliance with design and engineering specifications, coordinating subcontractors, and delivering the project on schedule and within budget. The role requires strong leadership and project management skills, an understanding of industrial building requirements, and knowledge of regulatory standards 

Minimum Requirements: 

1. Minimum of 8 years of experience in the construction of industrial properties / construction. 
2. Must share portfolio showcasing projects from the ground up through completion. 
3. Strong people management skills, with experience working with diverse teams from various backgrounds and nationalities. 

 
Key Responsibilities: 

1. Preparation of technical specifications for construction and installation work (C&I) for tenders and contract drafting 
2. Monitor fit out progress (including sub-projects) based on Project timeline and aligning the sub-projects in terms of timing and scope 
3. Monitoring the cost vs progress of the sub-projects 
4. Setting intermediate time checks with measurable criteria to track the progress of the project and sub-projects 
5. Reporting on project progress in timing and cost progress in a semi-weekly basis 
6. Defining and control over completion criteria for sub-projects to ensure project quality and to trigger the acceptance of each of phase 
7. Managing and keeping risk log to avoid delays in the project or reputational damage and also to predict the likely areas for management decisions needed upfront 
8. Making strategic alternative analysis in the cost/time domain for leadership   
9. Devising cost-effective plans to enable timely project completion 
10. Liaising with authorities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations of the project 
11. permits and legal papers are secured ahead of the project 
12. Managing project managers and subcontractors to enable them to supervise and manage their teams and timely report
