The Sustainable Finance Department is a recently established team in the Bank, and its mission is to implement decarbonization goals and integrate low-carbon and green development into the Bank’s short, medium and long-term strategy. In order to strengthen the Sustainable Finance Department in Luxembourg, we are looking for a ESG Data Analyst.


Your responsibilities:
• Drive the internal collection of accurate ESG-related data including data validation and assurance processes within critical timelines, and optimize the data structure; • Manage the ESG reporting system and metrics database, as well as ongoing development and optimisation of the internal ESG performance dashboard for quarterly and annual tracking; • Work closely with different departments and external data providers to assess ESG data needs and enhance internal ESG data base; • Streamline external ESG policy development with internal database; • Support internal strategic discussions by keeping track of key performance metrics and contribute to the Bank’s ESG report; • Assume other tasks assigned by the Head of Department.


Your profile:
• University/business school student, major in Finance, Management, Mathematics, Engineering or related studies; • Fluent in English (written, oral, comprehension). Other languages would be an asset; • Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis and management; • Good at statistics and data processing in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word essential, solid skills in Python, VBA, JavaScript and C+; • Interested in ESG, Sustainability and related topics; • Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work cross cultures; • Accurate, responsible, consistent and resilient self-starter with good time management; • Sense of discretion and confidentialityThe Sustainable Finance Department is a recently established team in the Bank, and its mission is to implement decarbonization goals and integrate low-carbon and green development into the Bank’s short, medium and long-term strategy.
