Job Title: Data Scientist

We’re seeking a skilled Data Scientist who can harness data to address pivotal business issues and develop practical solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services or the payments industry and will be adept at data manipulation, data extraction, and analytics, bringing insights to life through visualization and communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client teams to identify business challenges and deliver tailored, data-driven solutions
• Extract, cleanse, and transform data from diverse sources
• Conduct feature engineering and prepare data for reporting, KPI creation, and analysis
• Develop and automate data extraction and delivery pipelines for continuous data flow
• Create proof-of-concept models, perform ad hoc analysis, and generate comprehensive reports
• Effectively communicate insights through presentations and data visualizations

Technical Skills Required

• Proficiency in data manipulation tools like Pandas
• Solid experience in data science, with expertise in machine learning (ML) and ML libraries
• Skilled in Python, PySpark, and statistical methodologies
• Strong understanding of data science algorithms and ability to work with large datasets
• Business acumen and a strategic mindset
• Knowledge of geo-location analytics (preferred)
