Job Title: Application Support Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer with a strong engineering and development background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in product companies and a deep understanding of how applications work in relation to the stack. This role is primarily focused on engineering (80%) with some DevOps responsibilities (20%).
Key Responsibilities:
•
Provide application support and engineering capabilities.
•
Work with Kubernetes and Linux as the foundational technologies.
•
Move above the base layer to the application layer, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
•
Utilize Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring and visualization.
•
Write queries and create dashboards in Grafana and Prometheus.
•
Collaborate with development teams using Go, Node.js, and Python.
•
Maintain and enhance the monitoring stack alongside engineering tasks.
Qualifications:
•
Proven experience in a product company, with any technology stack.
•
Strong understanding of application architecture and its relation to the stack.
•
Proficiency in Kubernetes and Linux.
•
Experience with Grafana and Prometheus, including writing queries and creating dashboards.
•
Background in engineering and development.
•
Familiarity with Go, Node.js, and Python.
•
Ability to manage and optimize the monitoring stack.
