Azure Platform Engineer

Contract

The primary objective of this role is to lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of an Azure-based platform, integrating technologies such as Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Azure OpenAI APIs, and Azure Machine Learning services. 

Responsibilities

• Platform Enhancements: Develop and optimize Azure platform features, including Kubernetes deployments (GxP/non-GxP), Azure OpenAI APIs, and application container configurations.
• Collaboration: Align designs with standards, working closely with the project manager and IT cloud teams to execute infrastructure tasks.
• CI/CD Management: Refine and execute Azure DevOps pipelines, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Support & Testing: Troubleshoot Python and R scripts, and test platform features for quality before deployment.

Technical Skills Required

• Deep knowledge of Azure technologies, including Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, and Azure Data Analytics services.
• Hands-on experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure design.
• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI APIs and Azure Machine Learning.
• Basic scripting skills in Python and R for testing and debugging.
• Experience with Spark and database functionality for functional testing.
