The Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automation workflows using Automic Workload Automation (UC4), ensuring high availability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Create and maintain automation workflows using Automic Workload Automation (UC4).
- Collaboration: Work with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand automation requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve issues related to Automic Workload Automation, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Best Practices: Implement and enforce best practices for workload automation, including error handling, logging, and monitoring.
- Configuration Management: Perform upgrades, patching, and configuration management of Automic components.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and operational procedures.
- User Support: Provide support and guidance to end-users on Automic Workload Automation tools and processes.
Skills
- Proven experience with Automic Workload Automation (UC4), including the development, configuration, and maintenance of automation workflows.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash or PowerShell) for automation tasks.
- Experience with database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and writing SQL queries.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
- Experience with CA Autosys is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes is advantageous.
