Failure to do so could result in financial contributions in accordance with the established Emiratisation policies of the UAE. The MoHRE emphasizes the significance of adherence to Emiratisation targets, encouraging private sector entities to fulfil their obligations before the specified deadline. To facilitate compliance, the ministry highlights the Nafis platform, providing companies with access to a vast pool of qualified UAE citizens suitable for various positions across different sectors. However, the MoHRE issues a stern warning against companies engaging in fraudulent hiring practices, emphasizing that any such attempts will be met with firm legal action. Recent monitoring and enforcement efforts by the MoHRE have revealed that approximately 916 companies have violated Emiratisation decisions. These violations include the falsification of Emiratisation positions and attempts to bypass established Emiratisation targets, impacting a total of 1,411 UAE nationals. On a positive note, over 18,000 companies have affirmed their commitment to hiring UAE citizens within the private sector. This collective effort has resulted in job opportunities for 88,000 Emiratis, showcasing a dedication to fostering national employment and achieving Emiratisation goals.
