We have all been deeply affected by the events taking place in Ukraine. With more than 3 million people who have had to abandon their homes and lives, we have unanimously decided to put what Halian does best at, work to support as many in need as possible. The current crisis has become an international example of how different countries and cultures can unite to help people in desperate need. Our teams, located in the UAE, Luxembourg, and the UK, will take a clear stand in addressing the unprecedented crisis in Ukraine. All of us at Halian will unite our experience and capabilities to raise funds for humanitarian agencies working in the Ukraine and provide as many job opportunities for Ukrainian refugees as we can. Securing work is the first step towards a more sustainable integration and we will enable Ukrainian individuals to rebuild their futures. Halian will donate $2000 to the Red Cross/Red Crescent for every hire we make to support humanitarian work in Ukraine. Through their initiative and broader network, we will be able to boost our reach to a wider number of displaced tech talent Ukrainians looking for a job. We are also encouraging our employees to make personal pledges by donating their time to fund raising activities or by making a direct financial donation to the Red Cross/Red Crescent, which Halian will match.
