Contract

We are seeking a Windows Systems Engineer with advanced expertise in Microsoft Windows Server, Azure, and SCCM. The role involves managing cloud transitions, automation, and supporting the bank’s cloud strategy focused on Azure and AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in on-premise and cloud infrastructure, scripting, and DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide subject matter expertise in Windows Server systems and Azure.
• Design and implement Azure Landing Zones and oversee the deployment of applications to the cloud.
• Lead infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code and Azure DevOps.
• Offer advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Develop and maintain systems standards and support Windows Server environments (2008-2022).
• Create and modify scripts for automation using PowerShell or other scripting tools.
• Work on Azure policy, monitoring, and Active Directory integration.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Azure and cloud deployments.
• Strong knowledge of SCCM and some exposure to SCOM.
• Experience with Azure certification (AZ-104, AZ-800, or AZ-801 preferred).
• Proficient in Windows Server infrastructure, Azure Resource Management, and automation tools.
• Familiarity with cloud networking, security, Azure AD, and DNS management.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant IT experience.
• Certifications in Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE) and ITIL are a plus.
