We’re seeking a visionary VP of Data Engineering with over 20 years of experience to lead our data strategy, engineering practices, and technical teams. This role is ideal for a seasoned data leader who sees data as a strategic asset, with expertise in data architecture, cloud platforms, and team leadership. You’ll play a critical role in transforming data infrastructure, guiding the team, and driving real-time, data-driven insights to fuel our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Data Leadership: Define and execute a forward-thinking data engineering strategy that aligns with business goals, ensuring infrastructure scalability and innovation.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and collaboration.
• Advanced Data Architecture: Oversee the design and deployment of complex, scalable data systems and architectures, particularly in cloud environments.
• Data Integration & Automation: Drive the implementation of no-code/low-code tools and API integrations to streamline data accessibility and automate processes.
• Cloud & Big Data Solutions: Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) to manage large-scale data pipelines, ensuring robust and high-performance applications.
• Real-Time Data Insights: Architect real-time data solutions to enhance decision-making capabilities and support mission-critical applications.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams to ensure cohesive integration and alignment of data solutions with business needs.

Qualifications:

• 20+ years of experience in data engineering with significant time in leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in data architecture, API integration, and real-time data streaming.
• Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and data integration tools like Fivetran, Stitch, and Informatica.
• Advanced proficiency in data engineering programming languages, particularly Python, for custom solutions.
• Exceptional leadership, with a track record of building and inspiring high-performing teams.
